Walmart's Twitter Success

Walmart. I think that Walmart gets a lot of scrutiny, but they do quite a few things very well. One of the things, which is what they are most known for, is their cheap prices. What I find more interesting though is their social media. They are exceptional at replying to their customers; this is most well seen on Twitter. If you go to their Twitter and look at tweets with replies it is just full of replies back to their customer. Their marketing team is very good at responding to tons of customers and having a more interactive response than just thank you. As seen in the picture below they love to engage with their customers.
If you look through their twitter you see tons of heartfelt replies, not the generic ones you often see for other big companies. Walmart also does a good job of posting frequently but not so often that it would disturb one's Twitter. This helps embody the value proposition, a happy and friendly environment that all can be involved in.Most customers seem to be saying good things on twitter about Walmart. The few bad things are rumors and bad jokes; mostly involving WWE for some weird reason. I think that Walmart is doing a great job with their marketing, especially involving their Twitter, I would try to tackle the bad Tweets sent at them. Sometimes it is best to be quiet but whatever it is that Walmart is doing seems to work.
